“Thorn” is edgy synths from hell and demented techno drums reanimated for vengeance by stylish vocals that blur the lines between singing, rapping and talking – but while the sound palette drenches itself in pure violence, the lyrics contrast it with conscious topics that criticize today’s musician culture and poetic rhymes that fly seamlessly between English and Korean.
